The Van

I drive this van around places that look like this....

Camille & Pascal's Wedding

Aix-en-Provence

On our way to Cassis, we stopped in Aix-en-Provence for lunch.

Cassis

Gwen and I went for a road trip with no particular plan or destination. We ended up in the town of Cassis. Due to the proximity of the mountains the town is unable to grow larger. As a result, it still retains much of it's small town charm.

Cassis from above.

The view from our hotel room.

The harbor at dusk.

The local white wine. The Appellation is Cassis. Not to be confused with the berry of the same name.

Every town needs a Gourmand.

Château d'Artigny

One of our bike trips spends two nights at this hotel in the Loire Valley. The service is impeccable.

The Market

Every self respecting town in France has market. Orange supports an excellent market. Once a week a treasure trove of beautiful food items fills the Centre Ville.

The Fish Monger. One of many.

Fresh and Dried Spices. Not to mention some of the best olives of your life.

Sausages in every flavor and shape.

Radishes are big right now.

The produce is just amazing.

Who needs a basket?

Scorpins!

I found this guy in the backyard - Right near our table.

He was really excited to see me!
